Μια εμπειρία στον μουσικό κόσμο της Αφρικάνικης παράδοσης της Βραζιλίας.
Χρησιμοποιώντας τα κρουστά όσο και το σώμα ως όργανο, θα ξεκινήσουμε από την κατανόηση των ρυθμικών δομών του Candombié και τη μουσική τους σύνδεση με τους μύθους και τις ιστόρίες των Orixás.
Θα ανακαλύψουμε πως ενσωματώνονται διαφορετικές μουσικές εκφράσεις και τραγούδια μέσα στην παράδοση και πως- μέσω του ρυθμού- διηγούμαστε ιστορίες.

“The Musicality of the Candombié is an experience in the universe of this African tradition in Brazil, that incorporates songs and musical expressions using the body and the instrument. Bringing as an initial point the understanding of the rhythmic structures and their musical connection with the Itan’s, tales of the Orixás, where music expresses history through rhythm. And from this experience, the understanding of a particle of this vast world of possibilities as inspiration for compositions from these structures.

Alysson Bruno Bio
Musician, born and raised in the Ketú candomblé religion. Basic training in music of 14 years, in the group Abaçaí Culture and Art, with direction of Ari Colares and Toninho Macedo, and leading the musical work of this group from 2008 to 2012, acting as a assistant of musical direction and professor of percussion. He studied popular percussion for two years at the “Instituto Tom Jobim” ULM (Universidade Livre de Musica) Free Univerty of Music. Representing the Abaçaí performed several presentations as: 1st International Percussion Encounter (Conservatory of Tatuí) – Theater “Procópio Ferreira”; Paris Quartier D’Été (Meeting of Brazil in France) -Theatre Opéra; ANDANÇAS – 10th International Festival of Popular Dances – Carvalhais / São Pedro do Sul – Portugal; among many others.
He also performed an important work with “Orquetra HB” from Guga Stroyther, making presentations of the show “AGÔ! Sacred Songs of Brazil and Cuba – Sala Crisantempo, and recorded the disc “Xirê Reverb” performing of the show Baile dos Orixás, both presenting characteristics of Jazz with traditional musicality of Candomblé. He acted as musical co-director of the show “Raizes” of the Maracatu Naition “Oju Oba” in Paris in 2010, a work created by the choreographer Irineu Nogueira, bringing the sacred music of Candomblé adapted to maracatu instrumentation. In the last nine years he has taught courses in Paris, Lille, Moscow, London, Bristol (England), Liverpool, Barcelona, Geneva, Greece, Toronto, Buenos Aires, Montevideo and others, bringing the musicality of candomblé and re-reading in a new universe instrumental this language of music, in 2013 taught the course at the festival “La Croisée des Culture” in Geneva Switzerland. In 2014 he co-directed the musical show “Terra Brasil” from Cia Dance Migration in Toronto on tour in Holland, currently musical director of the same company, performing shows as “Ciclonicity”, “Feminino” in 2015 and “Gaia” in 2016. musical direction of the dance company Gumboot Dance Brasil in the shows “Yebo” (2014) and Subterrâneo “in 2018. Musical director and collaborative composer of the “Cia Pé No Mundo” in 2018. Since 2010, In europe as a musician of the choreographer and dance teacher Rosangela Silvestres, and choreographer and teacher Irineu Nogueira passing through places like, Barcelona, Paris, Lille, Bristol, Brighton, London, Moscow, Geneva among others. In London he also played with the artist Aloisio Menezes at the “Brazilian Day Lodon” festival in 2015, and developed music and dance works with the choreographer Irineu Nogueira. Member of the Batucada Tamarindo group, which develops a music work for contemporary Afro dance classes, mixing diverse musical influences from West African rhythms to the most diverse Afro-Brazilian, Afro-Cuban and black musicality in classes and shows. Musician of the “Coletivo Roda Gigante”, a group that develops a work of music with instrumental base expanding the horizons for some songs, starting from the choro rereading this language bringing a whole baggage of Afro-Brazilian music. Percussionist of the Band Aláfia, that brings influence of the American Funk to Black roots of brazilian musics, mixing diverse influences of Soul and Rap. Member of the duo AfroAquarela, a percussion and violin duet that develops a research line in the universes of Afro diaspora music, transiting through several faces of black music. Maestro of “Charanga Afoxe Ile Omo Dadá” since 2004, Afoxé Bloco of São Paulo with the tradition of parades in the openings of the official São Paulo carnival to forty years. Maestro and arranger of the Afropercussive Bloco Zumbiido.
